Buildings around Joshuas

Flamingos and sunsets over the desert

Outskirts of Dubai

Kids on Josh's balcony

Josh used to have a view of the Al Kalifa Tower ( near Dubai Mall) from his balcony, but they now are building other towers and blocking the view, we still can see the dancing fountains (just)

Smiling Bkk's for dinner

The Burj Al Arab

Not only is it a lovely building, it looks over a beach we like to swim at, no waves though. The gulf is very flat.

Back in Cairo

On lots of street corners there are vendors selling lebanese bread. The white Kombis drive around with the doors open and people jump on and off them (they are like a little bus). They are everywhere.

This poor donkey on the work site had gravel in his cart and the one behind had cement bags.

The Pyramids and the Sphinx

The Pyramids,Giza

The Pyramids are in Giza. A city just out of Cairo. They were incredible, absolutely huge.

Arriving back in Cairo

Cairo is a very busy city, with roughly the same population as Australia. So some parts are busy, dirty and a little chaotic.Traffic was amazing, not one car stays in there lane.People are everywhere. The photo under the freeway is at 7.30 in the morning and the roads were packed with people and cars.
